About Salsa de Rosa
Continuing the Family Tradition
With second generation, Erik, now with a little family of his own, taking over the family business, from once a simple recipe developed by Rosemarie (a.k.a. Rosa a.k.a. Ro) in the late 1970’s. It has grown into one of the freshest, best tasting salsa’s on the market. Erik hopes to continue the legacy of that homemade salsa from Ro’s kitchen.
In 1999 when the business was formed and being handmade in a Cuisinart in the kitchen, to a commercial kitchen in the Garage made by Steven and his brother-in-law. Being sold at bazaars, farmers markets and our first store Red Apple Market Bridle Trails, and Erik hand delivering to the stores before school. It is the meager beginnings, hard work and dedication, we feel is the true American Dream. Through this passion, it’s developed into dozens of chains and hundreds of stores in the PNW, with some of the most loyal and amazing customers and supporters, we call our Family de Rosa.
With Steven and Ro enjoying the fruits of their labor in retirement, although Steven likes to peek in from time-to-time, Erik leading the next generation and Morgan helping from above, we can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds. We are beyond humbled by every one of our Family de Rosa members and could not do this without you all.
