Sustainability

Salsas with chips in a bowl.

Salsa de Rosa recognizes sustainability as one of the great challenges of the human race. Sustainability is about more than the environment and recycling. Sustainability is about efficiency in process and waste, sustainability is repeatable, and business MUST be sustainable.

Our efforts at Salsa de Rosa have gone beyond the usual in our industry and moved away from single use plastic years ago. Being a quality brand, we knew our customers did not want to see the most inefficient packaging available and wanted a package reflective of the product.

Re-Use is the purest form of recycling: Our container is dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe. There are hundreds of re-uses for our package and if it is damaged it can be recycled!

We also use Recycled cardboard for our case boxes and we have partnered with many organizations over the decades that prioritized sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Everything we are doing now includes the reduction of logistics and shipping. Our plan involves local packing in the regions we serve so we do not have to ship ingredients or finished product, allowing us to hire and buy locally.

We are still a family business and what we do for our family, we do for you!

Salsa de Rosa is doing our small part in sustainability. With every one of your purchases, you are receiving a reusable, dish washer safe, microwavable container. Also, if you need to recycle, it’s just a rinse and recycle with mixed plastics. We think the re-use factor sets us apart.

Our produce is also locally grown with limited travel from production to shelves. This ensures you are getting the freshest product possible. Local produce also supports local farms. We hope you enjoy our salsa as much as we love making it!
